LLC "Quark" - manufacturer of lockers for swimming pools and fitness clubs
The company "Kvark" has been engaged in the automation of swimming pools and fitness centers, including the equipment of electronic locker rooms, since 2013.We personally encountered problems such as swelling of wood and malfunctioning of locks due to sagging hinges when making chipboard cabinets.
It was decided to find another material for the manufacture of locker rooms.
Assigned tasks:
- Compliance with the high humidity requirements of swimming pools, water parks and fitness centers.
- Low price.
- Ease of assembly.
Finding a solution:
We did not consider the option of making metal cabinets, as they quickly rust, and their thin walls are easily deformed.Turning to HPL plastics, which were already popular in the construction and production of furniture, the company found that cabinets made of this material are so difficult to manufacture, difficult to transport and whimsical to assemble, that the price for one tends to four tens of thousands.
Further searches led "Quark" to aluminum composite panels (ACP).
- The design of cabinets made of aluminum profiles and ACP has been developed with a minimum amount of fasteners and a unique fastening of doors that excludes subsidence.
- CNC machines purchased, production is organized.
